i'd just like to state that it would seem that the northwestern wildcats women's lacrosse team is on the verge of a national championship. lacrosse or not, it's pretty outstanding.

i welled up with pride when i had half-an-ear on the wnur sports' wall-to-wall coverage of softball's regional win over albany followed by the lacrosse team's win over dartmouth.

sadly, i won't be able to listen to the lacrosse game on saturday. 130 first draw [?], i'm on at 1:45. sigh.
