busy times starting to cool down. the boy came back to the 'port sunday night, and we got most of the stuff back to the 'burbs by monday night at about 9. i hope only one trip remains, coming the day after christmas.

it's certainly a shock for the parents - the boy back from school, my sister back from prague, and me beginning a glorious life of unemployment - all in a span of four days.

not really that much to report. i've hit the treadmill both days i've been back, and have slept past noon both days. i arrived here at about 9 on monday, and first left the house at 9:30 on wednesday, which is not necessarily something to be proud of.

but i'm back into productivity mode. the astros hired a pair of minor league guys, which means that the "trickle-down" is about to happen. i feel good about a pair of job leads, and had one play the "we don't want someone with your experience" card. [it was a paid internship, but it was also double-a.]

other than that, nothing really. done with shopping, and i have some wrapping to do. perhaps gurs thursday night.
